Job summary

Nashville Soccer Club is seeking a Coordinator of Special Events to support the GEODIS Park Special Events Management team in planning and executing events at Nashville SC’s stadium.

The role requires a professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and on-site coordination from setup to close-out.

Qualifications

• Must have professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Acquire strong knowledge of all event spaces in GEODIS Park.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure event specifications are communicated to and executed by all operating departments.
• Act as the on-site event contact for assigned special events, monitoring the entire event production from install to strike.
• Create event outlines summarizing each event for department awareness.
• Maintain constant communication with internal departments regarding the client.
• Participate in internal and external meetings, including walkthroughs and tours for clients and vendors.
• Attend pre-event meetings with all pertinent departments.
• Assist in compiling event proposals.
• Ensure appropriate and timely setup of all functions.
• Become proficient in the venue’s event planning software to develop layouts.
• Provide support on Major Events as needed.
