Qualifications

• Demonstrate interest and have experience working with children with disabilities

• Hold or be eligible to obtain Wyoming substitute teacher certification
• AA degree or 48 college credit hours required

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with regular or special education teachers to plan, prepare and implement each student's IEP.
• Provides structuring comments to clarify tasks and help lessons proceed smoothly.
• Supports teachers' efforts to ensure student time on task.
• Aids the teacher in providing evaluative feedback.
• Motivates students and communicates effectively with them.
• Promotes self-discipline and responsibility among students.
• Carries out general employee responsibilities and supports school regulations and policies.
• Assumes duties outside the classroom as related to the school.
