The position emphasizes collaboration with certified staff, attendance at IEP meetings, and maintaining students' progress records while ensuring safety and dignity in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1–3 years' experience with students with behavioral/communication and/or intellectual needs.
• CPR/First Aid training completed within first year.
• Crisis Prevention training completed within first year.
• Registered Behavior Technician training completed within first year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsabilités

• Supports students under the direction of FCPS staff.
• Communicates and documents student progress.
• Sets up and adapts materials and assistive devices as directed.
• Facilitates student progress toward independence.
• Monitors and assists students during activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Attends IEP and staff meetings; supports clerical tasks.
