Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive learning environment and respond to individual student needs.
• Demonstrate basic skills in core academic areas up to a high school graduate level.
• Assist with lesson delivery under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Uphold district policies in all activities.
• Create a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Assist the principal with duties and supervise students.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures.
• Perform office or classroom duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA.
• Adapt to changing circumstances.
• Exercise good judgment and appropriate language.
• Work with students of varying abilities and special needs.
