Orange Tree Staffing in Leander, TX, is seeking a bright and talented Special Education Teacher to provide education-based therapy services to students for the 26/27 school year at BASIS Leander Campus.

This full-time position follows the school year calendar, with 40 hours per week, serving preschool through high school populations, and involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement IEP goals.

Qualifications

• SPED certification and eligibility to teach.
• Experience with IEP goals and progress reporting.
• Ability to develop individualized instructional plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning needs and determine supports.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based instructional plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct instruction and interventions to support academics, behavior, and social-emotional skills.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff to ensure accommodations are integrated.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with progress reports.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies via ongoing assessments.
• Maintain documentation including IEPs and lesson plans.
• Stay current with best practices and special education law through PD.
