Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a bright and talented ASL Interpreter to serve students at Harmony Science Academy – Georgetown for the 2026/2027 school year. This is an in-person, full-time role located in Georgetown, TX.

The position requires an ASL Interpreter Certification and a minimum EIPA score of 4.0, with hours M-Th 7:30-3:30 and Fri 7:30-1:30. Competitive weekly pay and school-year alignment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, clear, and age-appropriate ASL interpretation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students during classroom instruction, activities, meetings, and school events.
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, staff, administrators, peers, and families while maintaining confidentiality and professional interpreting standards.
• Support students' access to the general education curriculum, including interpreting academic terminology, classroom discussions, assessments, presentations, and STEM-focused instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related-service providers to ensure appropriate accommodations and communication access in accordance with each student's educational plan.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment by encouraging student independence, participation, and self-advocacy while serving as a communication facilitator rather than an instructional substitute.

• Additional:In Person Services, Full-Time Opportunities at Charter School Campus in Georgetown, TX, north of Austin. ASL Certification Required with Minimum EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher.
