Orange Tree Staffing seeks a bright and talented Special Education Teacher (SPED Teacher) to provide education-based therapy services to students in the Greater Phoenix Area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities include assessing student needs, developing IEP-aligned plans, delivering direct instruction, collaborating with teachers and families, attending IEP meetings, and maintaining comprehensive documentation in a hands-on, in-person setting across multiple districts.

Qualifications

• K-12 Special Education certification is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning needs and determine supports.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based instructional plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Provide direct instruction for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff to integrate accommodations into instruction.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with progress updates.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies based on assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation including IEPs, lesson plans, progress reports, and assessments.
• Stay current with best practices and special education laws.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Location of Services: Multiple Districts across the Central, East, and West Valley.
• Hours Per Week: 8 Hours Per Day | 40 Hours Per Week
• Dates of Contract: 2025/2026 School Year
• Additional:In Person Services, Multiple Openings including ARD Coordinator, self-contained classroom teacher, and Resource Teacher.
