Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs in district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will implement SESI’s evidence-based instructional models and CASE PBIS framework while collaborating with families and school teams. You will develop individualized lesson plans, manage behaviors, and document IEPs and related records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas special education teaching credential.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse groups of K-12 students requiring additional supports.
• Use SESI instructional models and CASE PBIS framework.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and crisis-intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain IEPs, BIPs, incident reports and high-risk forms.
• Record and monitor student growth toward academic and social-emotional goals.
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and transitions within the school.
