Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K-6 in a contract, full-time role on a school team. You will collaborate with paraeducators to deliver individualized instruction and IEP-driven goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Special Education certification or be eligible.
• Experience teaching or working with K-6 students in SPED environments.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and accommodations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with resource, push-in, and pull-out instructional models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students on caseload.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to address varying learning styles and needs.
• Coordinate with paraprofessional support for instructional and behavioral interventions.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate regularly with families, staff, and service providers.
