Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Fontana, CA team. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on-site in Fontana, with starting pay at $55 per hour.

You will develop IEPs, adapt curricula, and collaborate with staff and families to support diverse learners. The successful candidate holds a CA Special Education teaching credential, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active CA Special Education Teaching Credential.
• Experience with IEP development and differentiated instruction (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Provide direct instruction to small groups and individuals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support each student's growth.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, accommodations, and behavior.
• Utilize assistive technology and other tools to enhance learning.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
• Stay updated on best practices through professional development.
