Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to provide specialized instruction and support to students across Northern, Central, and Southern California. You will implement IEPs, collaborate with district staff, and contribute to positive academic and behavioral outcomes.

Full-time role with benefits, potential placement bonus, and opportunities to work as a substitute as needed. DOE/FBI clearance required, state certification, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • State-specific Department of Education certification or eligibility.
  • BA/BS in Education or related field preferred.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance as required by state.

Responsibilities

  • Implement IEP goals through small group and individualized instruction.
  • Support general education curriculum with accommodations and modifications.
  • Assist with classroom behavior management using PBIS strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers.
  • Maintain documentation and support IEP compliance.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with district staff to implement IEPs, support classroom instruction, and promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes.We are also welcoming qualified substitute teachers who are interested in flexible opportunities to support special education classrooms on an as-needed basis.
