Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in Mod/Severe settings across the Greater Sacramento area. You will implement IEP goals, align instruction with IEPs, and collaborate with district staff to promote positive outcomes.

The role offers full-time or substitute opportunities with benefits and ongoing professional development; state certification and TB clearance are required.

Qualifications

• State-specific certification or eligibility; substitute permit for substitutes.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals through small group and individualized instruction.
• Support general education curriculum with accommodations and modifications.
• Assist with classroom behavior management using PBIS strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain documentation and support IEP compliance.
• Track and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
• Support students with assistive technology and communication tools as needed.
