Job summary

Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to support K–8 students in Elgin, IL.

You will create differentiated instruction and implement IEPs to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. You will collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families, maintain progress reports, and foster a positive, structured classroom that supports diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement required.
• Bachelor's in Special Education or related field.
• Experience with diverse learners in K-8 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students' needs.
• Implement, monitor, and update IEPs to support growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
• Maintain progress reports and special education documentation.
