Delta-T Group Illinois, Inc. is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher (LBS1) for schools in the Maywood/Melrose Park area.

You will develop differentiated instruction, implement IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support students with diverse learning needs. This temporary assignment starts at $60 per hour, with weekly payments and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Experience teaching in a K-8 setting preferred.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) endorsement required.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required.
• Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a K-8 school setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Experience providing differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs.
