Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join a K-8 SPED team near Cleveland, OH. This full-time contract role provides opportunity to support a single school site with a caseload of 16 students and collaborate with a passionate education staff.

You will develop and implement IEPs, deliver specially designed instruction, monitor progress, and communicate data and updates to families and teams.

Qualifications

• Current Intervention Specialist license or strong eligibility.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of IEPs including writing and implementation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Data-collection, progress monitoring, and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide specially designed instruction (SDI) to boost student achievement and personal growth
• Monitor student progress toward goals, collect relevant data, and provide regular updates through progress reports
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment in alignment with best practices for K-8 special education
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning profiles
