Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract just outside of Cleveland, OH. You will teach students in grades 3–5 and support learners with diverse needs in a collaborative school environment.

The role requires strong IEP development and implementation, ability to design differentiated lessons, and excellent communication with families and colleagues. Work hours are 8 am–4 pm with professional development opportunities in a teamwork-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
• Experience teaching in a special education setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to create differentiated lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized instruction to students in grades 3-5 with varying abilities and needs.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administration, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Assess and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
