Job summary

Nampa School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to deliver daily instructional programs aligned with each student’s IEP. You’ll design level-appropriate lessons, employ varied teaching methods, and monitor progress to ensure academic growth and compliance with federal and state laws.

You will collaborate with case managers, parents, and staff to review and revise IEPs, provide accurate documentation, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho Teacher Certification with Generalist K/12 endorsement.
• Bachelor degree required and area of major study.
• Teaching or student teaching at appropriate grade level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assigned classes and design sequential lessons.
• Employ varied instructional techniques to meet student needs.
• Follow IEP modifications and accommodations in instruction.
• Analyze student data to adapt instructional activities.
