Qualifications

• Must hold Idaho Generalist K-12 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Teaching or student teaching at appropriate grade level.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assigned classes.
• Design lessons with appropriate difficulty.
• Employ diverse instructional techniques and media.
• Meet and instruct classes at designated times.
• Identify pupil needs and provide instruction accordingly.
• Analyze and interpret student data to guide instruction.
• Follow IEP modifications and accommodations.
• Assess progress and communicate with parents on a regular basis.
• Prepare students for district, state, and federal testing.
