Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience in general or special education.
• GAPSC license with SPED General Curriculum certification (P-12).
• Preferred certifications: Elementary Education or Middle Grades/Content Area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides specially designed instruction based on high-leverage practices.
• Directs the ESS Paraprofessional to support IEP goals and access to standards.
• Maintain student confidentiality and monitor confidential files.
• Maintain open communication with families, colleagues, and IEP team members.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development to maintain competence.
• Comply with IDEA policies and timelines.
