Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ARD to create IEPs tailored to each student.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource rooms.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor IEP goals.
• Work with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with accommodations.
