Job summary

LEARN Academy in Montebello, CA is seeking a Special Education Teacher with Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certifications to join our collaborative school team. You will develop and implement IEPs, adapt instruction, and monitor student progress in a supportive, evidence-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.
• Arizona credential or enrollment in certification program.
• Willingness to implement safety measures per PCMA guidelines.
• IEP development and SDI design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement student IEPs and design and provide SDI.
• Administer instructional activities to create a positive learning climate.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Assess changing curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, Clinical Specialists, and Administrators.
