Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Valid Texas state certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of students.
• Implement IEPs, assess student performance, and track progress.
• Adapt lessons and manage classroom behavior to support diverse learners.
• Collaborate with families and school staff to support student goals.
• Prepare and assist with transitions and state assessments.
• Engage in weekly planning, data collection, and communication with families.
