Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks a dedicated IDEA Special Education Teacher in Texas to support high‑need students. You will develop IEPs, adapt lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with families and school teams to raise achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education from an accredited four‑year institution.
• Valid Texas state certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess students’ progress and update IEPs accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student outcomes.
• Lead or participate in ARD meetings and school initiatives.
• Provide after‑school tutoring or additional session as needed.
