Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to lead instructional planning for elementary students with IEPs in a learning center or classroom setting.

You will design dynamic, personalized learning experiences, integrate educational software, and develop schedules aligned with state standards and individualized goals. This role requires collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or related field.
• Licensed currently or in process of obtaining IL PEL credential.
• Licensed currently or in process of obtaining IL SSE or LBS1 credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction and create comprehensive lesson plans.
• Adapt curricula and instructional approaches for diverse learning needs.
