Squamscott River Academy in North Hampton, NH seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher / Academic Case Manager to join our team. You will provide specialized instruction, manage student educational programming, implement IEPs and accommodations, and monitor progress to create a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
• NH Educator Certification with Special Education endorsement appropriate for grade level.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging classroom instruction aligned with curriculum standards and student learning goals.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and progress monitoring tools.
• Implement and monitor IEPs, accommodations, and modifications.
• Deliver specialized instruction for students receiving special education services.
• Maintain educational documentation, progress reports, grading, and case management responsibilities.
• Monitor student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress.
• Coordinate accommodations for state and standardized testing.
• Collaborate with families, administrators, clinicians, and outside agencies to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, treatment team meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development.
• Supervise and support paraprofessionals and teaching assistants.
• Assist with school activities, field trips, and student enrichment opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school policies and procedures.
