Ashuelot Valley Academy, part of Mount Prospect Academy, is hiring a Special Education Teacher / Academic Case Manager in Keene, NH. The role offers a hybrid schedule, with standard 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM hours, and a salary starting at $50,000+ commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will support students through individualized instruction, academic planning, and case management, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet IEP goals and student needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Special Education.
• NH teaching license or enrolled in certification program.
• Experience with middle/high school students and behavioral/emotional challenges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage academic programs for students with IEPs.
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Use project-based learning and innovative strategies.
• Assess student progress and provide quarterly updates.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise teaching assistants and support curriculum development.
