AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year in Minnesota. The position is 32.5 hours per week and follows the academic district calendar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• State of Minnesota teaching certificate with Special Education Endorsement.
• Experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal special education regulations.
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with disabilities.

Special Education Teacher (26/27 SY)

AB Staffing is looking for experienced Special Education Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• Valid State of Minnesota professional teacher certificate with Special Education Endorsement.
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education.
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills; initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see/ read a computer screen and printed materials with or without vision aids, hear and understand speech at normal levels, speak in audible tones. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, lift up to approximately 25 lbs and occasionally lift equipment/materials up to approximately 40 lbs.

• Maintain regular contact with parents, provide updates on progress and collaborate on strategies to support learning at home.
• Create a well‑organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Implement strategies to manage behavior and ensure a productive classroom atmosphere.
• Provide individualized and group instruction, utilizing specialized techniques for students with diverse needs.
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Modify curriculum and materials according to IEP goals.
• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and complete necessary documentation.

Salary

$1,625 to $1,885 per week DOE.
