Cross Country Education in Easton, MD is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with diverse learning needs in the general education setting.

You will develop and monitor IEP goals, collaborate with classroom teachers and families, and apply individualized strategies to promote access, engagement, and academic progress for students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments preferred.

Position Overview

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary students with diverse learning and developmental needs, including autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and language impairments.
• Deliver services primarily within the general education setting while collaborating with classroom teachers to promote student access, engagement, and academic progress.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies based on individual student needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student growth, inclusion, and successful educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience supporting elementary students with autism, learning disabilities, OHI, and/or language impairments preferred
