Job summary

Cross Country Education in Lancaster, SC is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners across Pre-Kb–12 settings in Lancaster, SC.

Provide specialized instruction, develop and monitor IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families to promote inclusive learning environments. Eligible candidates hold a SC Special Education certification and experience in relevant classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification (Multi-Categorical or related) required.
• Experience with students with disabilities in resource, co-taught, self-contained, or specialized settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to Kb students with disabilities across resource, co-taught, self-contained, and specialized classroom settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, including goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse needs while supervising classroom aides as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, aides, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and inclusive learning.

Ready to help students thrive throughout the 2026–2027 school year? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners across Pre‑K–12 settings in Lancaster, SC.

Position Overview

• Provide specialized instruction to K–12 students with disabilities across resource, co-taught, self-contained, and specialized classroom settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including instructional goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and required documentation.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports to meet students’ diverse academic, functional, and developmental needs while supervising classroom assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, classroom assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and promote inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification, including Multi-Categorical or related certifications (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe)
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in a resource, co-taught, self-contained, or specialized classroom setting preferred
