Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Bronx, NY, to serve grades 6–12 with adapted instruction, targeted supports, and individualized instructional plans that promote progress and equity in every learning session.

You will collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom, communicate progress with families, and maintain a hands-on, proactive presence that helps students feel capable and respected throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Valid New York State Special Education Certification.
• 3+ years of special education teaching experience preferred, with experience supporting middle and high school students.
