Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with K-8 students onsite in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on delivering personalized instruction and supporting social, physical, and intellectual growth in a primary school setting.

Responsibilities include utilizing direct instruction, adapting to individual learning styles, and implementing a proven curriculum while promoting positive behavior and community values.

Qualifications

• Valid SC Driver’s License.
• Current SC Department of Education Certificate endorsed in Special Education
• SLED Background Check will be conducted

• Master our proven curriculum as you implement our philosophy of education and guide the learning process and students toward the achievement of the curriculum goals.
• Evaluate each student’s learning capabilities and celebrate studentaccomplishments,
• Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.

Compensation Range: $43-48/hour

Position Summary

As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you connect and work one-on-one with students needing special support to understand both their capabilities and disabilities as you develop and apply personalized learning approaches and programs that support their growth, progress, and success. • Hours per week: 35-37.5hours per week
• Contract length: 10-12 weeks +
