Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Special Education Teacher-K-8 in Columbia, SC for 35–37.5 hours weekly on a school-day schedule. This onsite role runs for 10–12 weeks+, offering a hands-on classroom environment with direct instruction and personalized learning approaches to support primary students.

You will collaborate with staff to implement proven curricula, assess progress, and celebrate student growth, while modeling professional behavior and strong character.

Qualifications

• SC Driver's License valid and current.
• Special Education certification endorsed by SC DOE.
• SLED background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment that cultivates learning and engages students.
• Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through activities promoting growth.
• Explore individual needs and provide side-by-side support to tailor learning.
