Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Special Education Teacher-K-8 in Columbia, SC for 35–37.5 hours weekly on a school-day schedule. This onsite role runs for 10–12 weeks+, offering a hands-on classroom environment with direct instruction and personalized learning approaches to support primary students.

You will collaborate with staff to implement proven curricula, assess progress, and celebrate student growth, while modeling professional behavior and strong character.

Qualifications

• SC Driver's License valid and current.
• Special Education certification endorsed by SC DOE.
• SLED background check will be conducted.

Compensation Range: $43-48/hour

Position Summary

• Explore individual needs and give side-by-side support to discover how each student learns best and develop personalized solutions to each student’s learning style and abilities.
• Master our proven curriculum as you implement our philosophy of education and guide the learning process and students toward the achievement of the curriculum goals.
• Evaluate each student’s learning capabilities and celebrate studentaccomplishments,
• Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid SC Driver's License.
