Job summary

The Weld RE-4 School District is seeking a Special Education Aide II (Full-Time) at Mountain View Elementary School in Windsor, Colorado. The aide supports both regular and special education students by reinforcing lessons, supervising activities, and assisting with classroom modifications and behavior management under the direction of the teacher and principal.

Hours are 7.0 per day as part of a full-time schedule; benefits are described by the district and include eligibility for standard

Responsibilities

• Assist regular and/or special education teachers in obtaining educational goals for students.
• Reinforce curriculum, activities, and/or skills with small group of students or one-on-one.
• Collaborate with teacher to implement lesson plans and/or to determine modifications and/or accommodations for individual students.
• Supervise students in various school locations and activities.
• Monitor student behavior and safety and implement discipline procedures as needed.
