Job summary

Greeley‑Evans School District 6 seeks a Special Education Assistant (Student Specific) for Meeker Elementary School. This non-exempt role offers an hourly wage of $20.51 plus benefits and 182 days of work for the 2026‑2027 school year.

Required: AA degree or 48 semester hours or WorkKeys scores. Preferences include CPI and CPR/First Aid training. Reports to the School Principal and supports students with significant needs in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 48 semester hours or WorkKeys passing scores.
• Experience in school settings or with children with special needs preferred.
• Ability to provide student personal care and support.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic programming and progress of individual students or small groups with identified needs.
• Provide student-specific personal care and support.
• Assist with daily classroom activities, data collection, and sanitizing equipment and materials.
• Maintain ability to sit for long periods, manage distractions, and use visual/auditory cues.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required.
