Job summary

Qualifications

• AA Degree or have passed State Approved Assessment.
• Special Education staff may require CPI de-escalation training; CPI training provided by the District.
• 0-2 years' experience working with children in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructing students, reinforcing materials and skills, implementing curriculum and maintaining technology.
• Support students with understanding in their native language and interpret school functions for parents.
• Assist with student health care, including first aid, medication administration, and health records.
• Maintain computer labs and technology plans; support with budgets and inventories.
• Attend in-services, meetings, and school functions; may supervise lunch and field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
