Job summary

Weld RE-4 School District is seeking a Special Education Aide II for Windsor High on a part-time basis (5.5 hours daily). The role reports to the Principal and supports both regular and special education teachers to help students reach educational goals in a safe, conducive learning environment.

Staff will reinforce curriculum, work with small groups or individuals, and collaborate on lesson modifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist regular and/or special education teachers in obtaining educational goals and implementing lesson plans.
• Supervise students in classrooms and activities; monitor behavior and safety.
• Reinforce curriculum with small groups or one-on-one; determine appropriate modifications or accommodations.
• May assist teacher with clerical and organizational duties.
