Job summary

Illinois Education Job Bank seeks a paraeducator to assist in an organized educational environment where students with and without disabilities access the instructional program, activities, and resources. The role reports to the assigned special education teachers and building leadership.

Qualifica­tions include a Professional Educator License OR Substitute License from ROE OR a Paraprofessional License with 60 college hours or an Associate's degree, plus background clearance and tuberculosis

Qualifications

• License as Professional Educator or Substitute from ROE, or Paraprofessional License with degree or college hours.
• Background clearance including FBI and TB test.
• Pass fingerprinting as required by ROE.

Responsibilities

• Support in establishing an organized classroom environment for students with and without disabilities.
• Assist teachers with instruction, supervision, and classroom materials as needed.

Education
