Job summary

360 Community Services Education Program seeks a dedicated paraprofessional to support students with behavioral or developmental disabilities in the classroom, aligning with IEP goals under the Director of Special Education.

The role emphasizes academic and behavioral support, de-escalation techniques, documentation, transportation of students when needed, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and district staff. A strong commitment to student success is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in education, psychology, or social sciences preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport students when needed.
• Must pass State & Federal background check; CPR/1st Aid and Safe Crisis Management training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with academic and behavioral support in the classroom per IEP goals.
• Monitor student behavior, intervene when appropriate, and support in small groups.
• Document activities, progress, and behavior modification plans accurately.
• Transport students to community outings or field trips as required.
