Qualifications

• Meets Tier 1 Paraprofessional Requirements (Title 1).
• Complete CPR and First Aid training.
• Complete Universal Precautions/Bloodborne Pathogens training.
• Additional 6 hours of professional development each school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist instruction for individuals or groups as assigned by teacher.
• Supervise students in instructional and non-instructional settings.
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials and teaching aids.
• Assist substitute teachers as the chief information source.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
