Cambridge-Isanti School District 911 Isanti Intermediate School & C-I STEAM School in Isanti, Minnesota, seeks a Special Education Instructional Assistant for a long-term substitute role. The position is full-time, 6.5 hours per day, with health, dental and retirement benefits.

Starting date is approximately 10/22/2026. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with ParaPro testing (or 60 college credits) and a successful background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required.
• A successful background check is required.
• Prefer experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Work with students throughout the day, assisting with behavior and academics.
• Refocus the student in the classroom, de-escalate negative behavior, recognize and acknowledge positive behavior, and work cooperatively with the classroom teacher and Special Education staff.
• Work to increase independence in children.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher.
