Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 48 college credits or AA degree or passing ParaPro assessment required for Title One Schools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Supports students under the direction of FCPS staff.
• Communicates and documents student progress.
• Sets up materials, equipment, and assistive devices for students as directed.
• Facilitates student progress toward independence.
• Monitors and assists students during educational and recreational activities.
• Assists with routine personal care not required to be performed by a nurse.
