Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and Para Professional requirements.
• Bachelor's or 32 credits from an accredited university (with passing grade C or better) or Para Pro assessment with 460+.
• Para Professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for instruction.
• Maintain high academic standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help and reinforce material as directed by certified staff.
• Provide feedback on student performance and assist with tasks as assigned by the teacher.
• Observe and record student time on task and progress.
• Assist with large group activities and help students in locating instructional materials.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Follow IEP modifications and accommodations as specified.
