Antioch School District 34 is seeking a Long-Term Substitute: Special Education Resource Teacher at Oakland Elementary School. The role focuses on planning and delivering instruction, assessing progress, and collaborating with families to support student success.

The candidate will develop IEPs/BIPs, provide testing accommodations, and work with general education staff to implement effective interventions. Strong communication and professional growth are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• PEL certification required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child development theories.
• Knowledge of current educational methodologies and techniques.

• Plan, prepare, and implement lesson materials aligned with standards.
• Differentiate learning activities for all students.
• Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Attend weekly professional development meetings.
