Job summary

Antioch Community Consolidated School District 34 is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to foster a supportive learning environment. The role involves planning and implementing lessons, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to ensure student success.

The teacher will differentiate instruction, maintain records, and participate in professional development, committees, and district activities while delivering effective IEP/BIP support in line with state

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is required.
Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS1) required.
Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and implement lesson materials aligned with state standards and district objectives.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
Create a positive classroom environment that supports student growth.
Collaborate with families, colleagues, and administrators to support students.
Develop and implement IEPs/BIPs in compliance with IDEA and IL regulations.
Provide progress monitoring and data-driven instruction.
