Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Michigan teaching certificate.
• Elementary Education endorsement (ZA).
• Valid Michigan Special Education endorsements (SM, SV, SC).
• Registered with EDUStaff, LLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with IEPs.
• Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and specially designed instruction.
• Teach reading, writing, and mathematics in small groups or resource settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support academic and behavioral needs.
• Follow instructional plans and progress-monitoring systems for consistency.
• Collect and document student progress and communicate concerns to special education staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to student services and IEP implementation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support meetings as appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with students and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and families.
