Family of Kidz in New York is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. We offer part-time or full-time roles with pay at $60/hour, with sessions scheduled during school hours across the North Shore area.

Responsibilities include direct, small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals, developing individualized lesson plans, and collaborating with school staff and families. NYS SWD certification is preferred; bilingual candidates are a plus. Benefits are provided for qualifying staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs.
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to support diverse learners
• Review, understand, and implement each student’s IEP mandates.
• Collect ongoing progress data and prepare quarterly progress reports.
• Maintain accurate session notes and submit documentation within required timelines.
• Communicate regularly with general education teachers regarding student needs, accommodations, and classroom strategies.
• Participate in CSE/IEP meetings as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with families, school administrators, and related service providers.
• Create a structured, supportive learning environment.
• Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom routines.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
