Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with students, peers, administrators, support staff and parents.
Assess and monitor student achievement and maintain documents for reporting.
Design and implement instructional strategies and activities.
Manage student behaviors to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Coordinate instructional activities with other staff to maximize learning opportunities.
Participate in in-service and professional development activities and staff meetings.
Communicate with students and parents regarding progress.
Collaborate with professionals to carry out schoolwide instructional activities.
Use multimedia and technology to enhance learning.
Plan lessons based on objectives for varying abilities.
Provide development and support for IEPs and BSPs.
