The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and preferred 2-year post-secondary training, plus flexibility to work with diverse learners and settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Licensed Staff with academic adaptations, self-care and social/behavioral needs for students in special education.
• Support may be provided in general education, special education, or community settings.
• Use positive behavior support strategies and trauma-informed practices to create a structured, supportive environment.
