Qualifications

• Two years of higher education (60 semester hours) or an associate degree or passing a state assessment in reading/writing/math knowledge
• Ability to read and understand instructional materials provided to students
• Three years in general administrative assistant work and/or training
• Excellent organizational skills and initiative

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and social-emotional/behavior accommodations under teacher direction
• Assist students with health, medical or physical needs (e.g., transferring, diapering, bathrooming)
• Assist teams with positive behavior support plans or emergency intervention plans
• Assist teams with data collection
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold policies
• Engage with parents, staff, and administrators to support student success
• Other duties as assigned
